I wouldn't like to meet this guard...

But you did a very nice thing with the perspective using the black colour, giving us the impression of beeing in a cave of sorts,as a frame.
As well as the path leading up to the guardian.

The whole picture is focused on him. and although his colours don't differ the least bit and he would blend in with the rocks around him perfectly... through this little perspective trick he immediately catches your eye.
