Yeah, one of my art history teachers got me into art nouveau a few years ago, especially Mucha. More so with his approach, the style is suited well for mixing in anime/manga-style characters while still retaining a strong sense of elegance. Really kinda spiffy! Kind of a perfect match for me!

My goodness. This is a truly fantastic piece of DBZ fanart. It's hard to pinpoint what I like best! I love the art nouveau style, and the awesome lighting, and the background. It looks like it belongs to a particularly awesome tarot card set. (I'd love to see a mirror image Android 17, I must admit.)

The movement that you put into her clothes and her hair really give a great impression of her floating. The lighting is nice and dramatic and I like the ruins in the background.
