Description
The Type-57 DTC was put into service in the aftermath of the end of the Human-Covenant War due to dwindling numbers of Type-44 and Type-52 Phantoms. Various factions—most notably Jul 'Mdama's Covenant and the Swords of Sanghelios—called upon allied colonies and renovated long-abandoned manufacturing facilities to produce the dropship, along with other war matériel. The Type-57 was used in multiple battles, including the Battle of Kamchatka and various engagements in the Blooding Years. By October, 2558 T-57 Phantoms were often used in Warzone simulations aboard the UNSC Infinity.
