*EDIT* Oh gosh, thank you so much for the DD on this!! It really means a lot to me! And again, I apologize for the lack of Sokka, but he unbalanced the picture so he had to go. XDThe public has spoken and you guys voted for me to do an Avatar: The Last Airbender fanart! And I gotta say, this picture was a real pain in the butt. XD Took forever to figure out how I wanted to color it, especially since I kept changing the colors. Initially I was just going to do Aang, Toph, and Zuko, but then I decided I needed somebody to represent water... but I didn't want to draw Katara. >_< So I thought about putting Sokka in, but then I was like "No, I should put in Katara so it's all four benders and it's balanced and everything. *sigh*" So I bit the bullet and drew Katara, even though she's about my least favorite character in the show. Lol! But yeah, not much else to say about this one really. Just though it would be fun to redesign outfits for everyone and whatnot. XD So, I hope you enjoy it! ^^
P.S. Brownie points if you can name all the additional characters in this. XD
P.P.S. If I could be a bender, I would want to be an earth bender. :3 Best element by far... as well as the most practical. XD

I guess I just never really tried it. I have nothing against it or stuff, it just doesn't interest me that much. I believe it's still one of the better series though.
All that doesn't change how cool the picture is though!

Well, if you ever feel up to giving it a try, it's worth a shot. I think it's by far one of the best animated series produced in a long time. It's a bit silly and childish at times, but it has a great story and wonderful character development.

I really love this. I live the composition of the image, the way you used the space, the symbolism of them creating a new world by creating this construction and the care for the detail. The animals and the objects you put in here are what makes this image as awesome as it is and every single one is incredibly well made 
I'm a bit sad because Sokka is not on the picture, so I choose to believe that it's because he's building a house like this with Suki, so I feel better about him x'D
And now I'm curious as to why is Katara your least favorite in the show x)))

Thank you very much! ^^ And yeah, I would have rather put Sokka in than Katara, but Katara balanced the image out and made more sense with what I was going for. And Katara's not a bad character, she's just my least favorite in the show because I don't find her as funny/interesting as the other kids.

Costume revamp! Love it! The mottled shading technique is interesting, but it adds great dimension. The details are amazing as well; it's a wonderful ode to the show. The little stuff, like the poster behind Zuko, is what really makes this an awesome piece. Keep it up!
P.S. Katara is my least favorite character as well. Why does she have to be so righteous and ruin the fun?

The Painted Lady, Hai-Bai, the Knowledge Spirit, Iroh's tea kettle, the old Moon Spirit, a platypus-bear, Bosco, Zuko's Blue Spirit mask, the Unagi, the Gan-Jin's western gate, Zuko's dual swords, the lantern and coupon from Zuko's date with Jin, Toph's ticket and passport, a badger-mole next to Leaves from the Vine, a wanted ad for the Blue Spirit, Bato of the Water tribe's necklace, Monk Gyatso's necklace, Appa and Momo and finally, Mushu.
I couldn't get the lantern and incense on Zuko's right, the food in front of Toph, Toph's tatoo, the small bag right above Zuko's head, and the small gong directly under Momo, and whatever else I couldn't find.

Mushu? Lol, the kite? XD No it's just there to represent the different dragons in the show (because they all look the same really)
And that's not a tattoo on Toph, it's her meteorite bracelet that Sokka gave her. :>

popped in my head when I read the title plus these characters basically built the new world. The Avatar to end the 100 year war, the New Firelord that helped humble the fire nation, the water bending master that made laws such as to make blood-bending illegal, and the earth bender who discovered and taught metal bending and made a better working police force. Anyways, funny song, great drawing. Love it
