This was way too much fun to make, and it works any way you flip/turn it (because I had to rotate like crazy). Ultra Final Fantasy Nerd Status! X9~Vvires wanted Larsa in there, but I would've died if I added another person. Also, I'm surprised my friends haven't kicked my ass for making so much FFXII fanart. I do what I want beetches! D:L
Final Fantasy Characters Belong to Square Enix. Although, those Lvl 82 legs on Fran are mine.

It falls together very nicely for being so random. I can't imagine the referencing you had to go through 
Did you use Painter, Photoshop or Open Canvas to color? The blending is very fun and stylistic.

Didn't use a sketch, just started with blobs of color on photoshop. I was too lazy to reference anything, if something looked wrong I just shifted it many, many times, so I thank the photoshop gods for creating the laso tool. XD
There is actually very little use of the blend/smudge tool, I mainly used in-between tones found with the eye-dropper.

Lol. Poor Vaan is just kinda laying there on his face. But I like the overall comp of the pic. At first the group kinda catches your attention and then draws your eye in for each individual.

Okay seriously this is one of my favorite FFXII fanarts ever. How the characters are all so near and interlocked that way is just great (good job on six characters in one picture, by the way), but my favorite thing is the casual feel this whole pic has about it. The way the characters are dressed, the relaxed poses and expressions. Not to mention the artistic quality behind it. I love the coloring techniques and use of light.
Keep on going with the XII fanart! That game deserves more love. It gets more criticizing than is justified. I personally adored the game.

Pff, I think most of those criticisms are from people who expect every game to be like Halo or Brawl. I had fun playing it! There's so much attention detail in the stories it's like you can never research enough~ :9

I can explain how they got this way! See, there was this spell that put them to sleep and someone put them all in a yahtzee cup (that dice game), shook 'em, and tossed them out. And they're still asleep so they don't know what's going on. Hence the craziness! I dunno, that's what I thought when I saw this, that they were strewn about and as they slept they took those shapes.
Anyway... you did a great job with all the characters. I could tell you didn't want to draw Vaan.

Oh wow, this is absolutely gorgeous. <3 A lot of people claimed that the characters were really flat in this game, but honestly they mesh in such interesting ways.
The detail and the shading here is so amazing, and honestly I can't pinpoint a favourite figure, I love them all (Okay, I guess I can say I especially adore Fran's and Penelo's pose as well as Fran's hand on Basch's chin).
But yeah, this is definetely one of my favourite pieces of fanart now for FFXII. So so lovely.
And I don't know what you want the context here to be but I took it as rather sexual, which just makes it that much more charming to me. {: Like they just had some weird bonding clothes-on orgy of friendship and love.

Even in my mind this is ambiguous, I have no idea what went on, but it's all good since everybody has different ideas about the characters anyways. Although, I did purposely hint at the "Fran+Ashe together, forget about Balthier" thing 
The voice acting and script could've been more lively, but I didn't think the characters were flat, just reading their stories before the game came out was riveting~ -coughskypiratescough- :9

Wow. Lol, I am really loving this piece. Seeing them all curled up (Fran specifically lol) together provides such a cozy and yet comical feeling.
The coloring is quite lovely. Overall very well done!
I had to tilt my head several times to figure out some of their limbs, lol, but that's good, makes it a fun-filled piece of art xD
