Okay, this is a revisit on my last request pic from 's OC, Wildvine. Apparently, when I posted the pic, I soon saw not long after that my worst fears were realized and my approach to the color scheme wasn't the right one at all. So I chose to redress this by giving the pic a second once over, this time with a color scheme closer in theme to what he has, which basically boils down to lots and lots of green. QT, I hope you find this version more to your liking (even though this could have been easily corrected by simply giving me some colors to start with...guilt, guilt, guilt, guilt, guilt
).Of course, this isn't to say that I'm scrapping my first version of Wildvine. I'm going to be keeping it posted here for those who've faved it and those who might fave it still. Whichever version people prefer, they are more than happy to stick with. Either way, I hope both versions are well-liked.

Well, I'm not too worried about ones like Paulina and Star. It's Sam I'm mostly concerned about right now. Like I say, I've come up with a few thoughts on her, but nothing that really hits the nail on the head just yet (at least, not to me).

Well, I've been giving some thoughts to Danny and Sam (more and more it's looking pretty unavoidable that I'm going to end up with the guys in these pics). I was thinking of cosplaying Danny as Tuxedo Mask, which would definitely work. Of course, I was also tossing around an idea of Sam as Sailor Saturn, but that didn't feel quite right (Saturn's dark enough, but just comes off as too timid). However, recently, I've started thinking about cosplaying Danny and Sam as Ranma and Akane from Ranma 1/2. Granted, Akane makes for some pretty plain and unimpressive cosplay, but she more or less fits with Sam's personality (although Akane has a much hotter temper). Anyway, that's where I am right now.

Actually, I did see that version, but I kind of went out on a limb again. I was trying to think of ways to make every single part of her unique and vibrant. And maybe this is an unfair generalization with plant-based villains, but for some reason, I just couldn't get Poison Ivy from "Batman: TAS" out of my head, the way her skin went pale after she mutated in Season 4. And since Shego has pretty much the same jazz with her skin tone, I kind of went that way with it. I don't know, it's just where my mind was at.

Well, that's good to know. Just for the record, though, I'm kind of stepping back from my artwork for this week. With all the work I've been putting into it, I'm starting to feel a little run down. So I'd like to take some off, turn my attention to other pursuits and hopefully, we'll see where I'm at when the week's out.
Don;t think this means you have to avoid me, though. I'll still be kicking around DA, responding to comments and such, so feel free to get back to me whenever you want.

Okay, well, here's where things stand for me right now, project-wise. I'm going to be starting work on one more pic in a couple of days here (it's going to be a KP pic of Shego vs. Max), then I'm going to start work on my next DP pic, "Laws of Attraction". Then, once that's story's done, it'll be on to more pics. While I'm working on "Laws of Attraction" I'm going to be talking with various friends of mine to see if they have any ideas on a sequence of DP pics I'll be working on over the course of my next series. It's a set of pics depicting DP girls (and possibly guys too, I haven't decided yet) in various anime cosplay. Some characters have already been decided upon, but if you have any suggestions, feel free to drop me a line.

Well, right now, I think it's far more accurate to say that I've come up with a direction to make progress in. But at least it's a good first step.

Well, KP-style is always a nice way to go. I know that I find the series to be an invaluable resource when it comes to drawing in that style. I don't think I could do what I do without it.
