Yeah, this pic's a little late to the dance (no pun intended), but hopefully, you'll find the work worth the wait.

This is Request #4 of this art set, coming to us, courtesy of , who wanted to see Kim in a particular dress. If the style of this outfit looks somewhat familiar to KP fans, it should. This dress is based off the Princess costume Kim wore in the Season 1 episode, "October 31st". The story is that Monique was able to salvage the scraps of Kim's costume, after the Centurion Project destroyed it, and managed to stitch together a brand new ensemble from what was left.

It took and I a few days to hash out the details on the design. He was hoping for something more classy and formal, while I had something closer to a party dress in mind. But after a little bit of back and forth, we came to the conclusion, why can't it be both? I also thought it would lend itself to a touch of humor, leading to the image you're seeing here. On the one hand, we have style that's formal and harmless, for those who might wish to see her wearing something a little less "risque". But what those individuals might not be aware of is that the formal gown is also removable, giving way to a look that others might find INFINITELY more preferable. ^_^

Bottom line, it's got a little something for everybody.

All-in-all, I'm fairly pleased with how this pic turned out. If I regret anything about it, it's that it simply took too long to ultimately complete. For all intents and purposes, despite all the figures on the page, this should have been a simple project. But my first draft of the pencil work...well...it just looked BAD. There's simply no other way for me to say it. So I basically had to take the whole thing and start over from scratch, something I wasn't particularly thrilled with. Even now, I really don't know why this picture gave me such a headache. If I were to guess, I would assume it's probably because I hadn't drawn KP style for a while and I needed to get my groove back. But if that's the case, all things considered, I'd say I managed to pull that off pretty well.

Well anyway, here's what we've got. , I hope you like what you see here. It's pretty much everything we were talking about. And as for everyone else, I hope you like it, too. As always, any and all thoughts are welcome. ^_^
