Well, here we are with the latest in a fair line of request pics that I'm trying to get done quickly before I get back to my fanfic writing again. This one comes to us, courtesy of , who wanted to see a pic of a "What If...?" like scenario where Sam still has her plant powers and brings Danny over to her side, based on a fanfic he read.Personally, I'm kind of glad to have this pic off my plate, if for no other reason than the fact that I wasn't exactly in favor of this. As much as wanted the pic to be romantic and I tried my best to make that happen, there were, nevertheless, sinister undercurrents to this scenario that couldn't be avoided and that I just didn't find appealing. Still, I didn't hate the idea SO much that I'd refuse to do it, so here it is.
, I hope this is what you wanted and I hope it was worth the wait. I can honestly say I did the best I could on it. As for everyone else, I just hope you like it.^_^

Well, like I said in my description, it wasn't exactly my idea to draw it.Β It was a request made to me from a friend.Β Still, I always find it flattering when my fanfics still get love.Β I think a lot of it comes from the fact that I post my art hear as well, so they kind of go out of their way to draw attention to each other.
Anyway, glad you liked this pic.Β Hope you've had a chance to enjoy my others.Β And if you have the time, maybe give my DP fanfics a read, see if you like them.Β Hope to hear from you again.^_^

I don't know.Β I've seen comments from people who are like that and I can't help but feel that if that was his intention, he could have said FAR worse things than what he did.Β Plus, if he's just going to take his ball and go home without even answering a standard, straightforward question, I really don't see why I should even give it that kind of attention.Β Kind of like I'm dignifying his comment somehow, which I'm not going to bother with.

That's ONE way to look at it.Β But you can't expect everyone to like what you do.Β It'd be way too easy, then.Β I've run into a couple of people who don't approve of the direction I've taken my DP fanfic series.Β But those are mostly people who have gone their own way, fanfic-wise.Β So I just shrug my shoulders and agree to disagree.

I kinda thought Danny would probably show up and over time America, his home country would start noticing him less and other countries like Germany and Canada would probably notice him more because is seems as tho hes more popular in other countries than here in the U.S....

Well, personally, I think it has more to do with the attention span than with intent.Β Danny still has a lot of fans in the States, I believe.Β The problem is that when it comes to TV shows, it always seems to be "out of sight, out of mind".Β You need a constant inflow of exposure in order to keep people interested.Β Otherwise, they'll just gravitate to whatever else is still kicking around.

Well, the qualifications for deep conversation are more or less similar to the ones for fanfics.Β That being that you have to be, to a certain extent, in love with the series you're discussing and its characters.Β Because that's the only way to truly understand it.^_^

Anyway, glad you liked the pic.Β I like to think I've been getting better as the pics roll by.Β As for next, I think I'm going to get an OC pic out of the way.Β I should be able to bang that one out relatively quickly.Β After that, I'll probably get a Future Danny/Future Sam pic done that was requested of me.
Then we'll see what happens.Β Dylan Goslow (the Facebook friend you introduced me to) requested a mash-up pic of DP, TP and FOP.Β And while I already know what I'm going to do with that one, it's going to be a HUGE project, with already 12 characters on the page.

Sounds like a doozy of a project. If I were you, I'd wait until the next batch of pics to work on it. That one would no doubt take a lot of out of you. Still, it would help broaden your Butch Hartman style if you drew FOP and TP characters too. And I'm glad to hear that my introducing you to him was a good thing.
