Here we have the latest work in my ongoing mission to get my list of request pics out of the way. This one comes by way of , who's a heavy advocate of Danny Phantom/Angry Beavers crossovers.The basic premise is based on a scene from one of his crossover fanfics. Beaver brother Daggett, who's befriended Danny, is more than a little annoyed at Dash Baxter's constant, unyielding bullying of our teen hero. So he seeks to right this egregious wrong in his own typical beaver fashion. Danny meanwhile, is just sitting back and watching the show with a look of complete and total satisfaction. Tucker likes what he sees as well. Sam, meanwhile, merely responds with a playful eye roll, not really approving of Daggett's actions, but not exactly complaining, either.
Dude, I hope this pic meets with your approval. Granted, it took me a little longer to finish than I anticipated, but given all the work I put into this, I hope you'll find it was worth the wait. I hope everyone else likes what they see as well.

Why oh why did Nickelodeon cancel Angry Beavers? Anyway, who needs ghost powers when you have an angry hostile beaver like Dagget?

The one problem with the angry beavers I can think of was lack of a significant number of characters. Longer running Nick Shows like Hey Arnold have dozons of characters which allow for lots of story plots and support cast. The dynamics in the Angry Beavers consisted mainly of two brothers trying to live together and driving eachother insane. They had few supporting characters and writers eventually run out of story plots to come up with using very few reaccuring characters.

Well, Danny's powers have managed to serve him well against Dash. He's just learned to restrain himself on that front. As for Nickelodeon canceling AB (or DP, for that matter), I don't know. Who knows why Nick does half of the things it does? Frankly, I think they just have this thing that if a show doesn't immediately generate the same ratings as Spongebob and Fairly Odd Parents, they end up panning it. They've also been following Disney's misguided lead by foraying into tween-sitcoms.
Anyway, glad you liked the pic. Hopefully, you've had a chance to enjoy my others.

Oh yeah, I like your other drawings and I enjoy your stories that you did. My favorites are Stolen Years and Laws of Attraction. If DP wasn't canceled I could see them as actual episodes. Sadly I already have an idea why Nick and Disney are making such horrible decisions on making shows. I think they want to dumb down their viewers. Stunt the growth of children so that the next generation will be too dumb to improve on things.
Also do you still take request? I've have this one story that I'm working on and I like to see someone draw this one scene in my story. Basically the scene is where Tucker in being attacked by those ectoplasm powered hot dogs. Danny is watching from the sidelines laughing as his parents try to swap the hot dogs off of Tucker with Maddie using a spatula and Jack using a still hot frying pan.
I've tried, but I'm not good on drawing people. Robots, monsters, aliens, demons, animals, humanoid creatures yes, but actual humans no. Kinda sad huh? Let me know if you would or won't, it's no big deal if you don't want to. It's just an image that won't get out of my head.

Well, when it comes to Nick and Disney, I still hold out hope that before too much longer, the people running both companies are going to be the people who look back with fondness at what it was like seeing the shows/movies that they used to see when THEY were younger. And they're going to want to bring those days back again. That's what I'd like to see happen, at any rate.
As for requests, yes, I still take them. I've actually got a few in front of you, so it might be a few weeks before you see yours posted up. Anyway, as for your request, I could probably do that. I think I might make a little tweak to it, though. See, I could picture Danielle laughing at a situation like that, but Danny would probably just slap his forehead and roll his eyes. Would it be okay if I threw in something like that? I don't want to interfere with your vision too much, but it's what I could see in my own head. Just asking.

I hope for the same thing with Nick and Disney, but only time will tell. As for your vision that's fine, my story is an AU that cancels out Danielle's existence. I don't mind if the picture is changed up so long as the basic concept stays. Also you can take your time, I have plenty of patience because the good stuff can't be rushed.

As for whether or not Dag should go after Paulina too, well, I don't think she's quite as viable a candidate, as she doesn't pick on Danny as much as Dash does. She actually spends more of her time feuding with Sam.

Well, the picture itself is penciled work, scanned and digitally hard-lined and colored. I simply marked it under the "Traditional" category because, as I understood it, the category was referring to traditional cartoons and comics, not digital. I may be wrong, but that was my interpretation.

Well, there is a difference between digital animation and traditional animation, although the line is becoming increasingly blurred. There are a lot of flash animated TV shows these days that look remarkably like traditional animation. But Danny Phantom is definitely traditional (with the occasional CG element thrown in), so that's what I labeled it under.

Well, I wouldn't say that computers aren't used at least somewhere in the process. But I don't think they're used for the whole entire thing. I would imagine that the work on most of Hartman's cartoons remains mostly traditional.
Speaking of which, I just finished the pencil work on my latest pic. If all goes well, I should have it scanned, completed and posted sometime tomorrow.

Not as of yet. I've still got a few request pics to run through. It won't be until I actually get back into the writing that I'll be able to make any kind of estimate on that. But I will try my best to be done soon.
