Before anyone starts thinking that I'm on a Desiree kick right now, let me just say that this pic comes to us as a request. This is a pic based on a fanfic idea that was pitched to me by . The basic gist of the story is that Danny is talked into participating in a foolhardy mind-swapping experiment by Jack. But just as they're about to proceed, Desiree comes crashing through the Fenton Portal with Cujo, the Ghost Dog, looking to retrieve an item of Sidney Poindexter's that Cujo stole. As you can see, in either case, things don't exactly go according to plan, as Desiree and Cujo get their minds swapped instead. Throw in Sidney and the antics of the Guys in White and things are going to get pretty wild, pretty fast.For the record, this is actually based on a story that I haven't written yet. actually asked if I would be so kind as to write this story for his birthday (which just so happens to be today). But since I'm nowhere close to the point in my series timeline where this story would take place, I made him a compromise to draw this picture instead, so here it is.
, this one's for you. Happy Birthday, man and I hope you like it...especially after all the work I put in (having only drawn Jack once before and being the first time I've ever drawn Cujo or the Fenton Portal). As for everyone else, I hope you appreciate it just as much.^_^

I can't wait for this story to come out. It be so much fun to see how all this turn out. I sure ifΒ Desiree smart than she stay away from Jack and Maddie ghosthunting things from now on. Things are always happening with fentons. It be fun to see something bad happen to Vlad for messing with things inΒ fenton works. That just idea to think of in future. This truly always fun to see. Maybe.Β But in Jack's defense, this incident wasn't entirely his fault.Β The invention worked, for all intents and purposes.Β There were just some...unexpected variables.

Yeah, something like that actually IS going to happen in the fanfic, when I get around to writing it.Β And yeah, Danny might not react quite to that extreme, but he's definitely not going to be comfortable about it.Β Especially when certain others happen to walk into the room.

Well, this really had nothing to do with Danny.Β It was simply a sequence of unfortunate events.Β And believe me, Cujo is NOT a dog that Danny wants.

The crazy thing is that I can totally see this happen since the life of the Fenton family seems to involve other relatively innocent people getting caught in their experiments. Then again, isn't Jack banned indefinitely from making any more experiments within the tri-city area thanks to his last invention that blacked out Amity Park? I wouldn't put it past him for forgetting or trying to be secretive.
I would also say that you made a good call in not writing the story right away because like you said, you're nowhere close in your series timeline to place it so that it wouldn't seem out of place.

Well, it would probably happen, given how these kinds of things always do seem to. But Jack actually isn't banned from his experiments...YET. In "Stolen Years", the court actually ruled that Jack WOULD be indefinitely banned from conducting any more experiemnts if another one of his inventions ended up causing another city-wide disruption.
Well, like I say, I do have a timeline I'd like to maintain. Also, I prefer to break stories up that feature specific characters. For example, if I'm going to write a story that features, say, Johnny 13 as the villain, I'm not going to write another Johnny 13 story right after it.

So basically Jack has to keep his big experiments under lock and key and only have simple experiments.
As with your method on making character specific stories that fit your timeline, I would agree with you on that. 'Episodes' that focus on the same villain played back to back does seem odd.
