Like my recent "Future" trilogy, this wasn't going to be the next pic I was planning to draw, either. But came to me with this idea for a gag gift for someone and time was of the essence. So, being the nice guy that I am, I decided to oblige. And after a little back and forth, this was the basic idea of the image we agreed on.

Remember the episode, "Frightmare", where Danny's strategy for breaking Jazz free of Nocturne's Dream Helmets was by turning her dream into a nightmare where she was married to Dash? Well, it would seem that Danny was unaware of the severe trauma he inflicted on his dear sister, as every once in a while, without warning, the image finds itself flashing back into her brain. And to this day, the very idea of having anything to do with Dash Baxter, let alone being MARRIED to him, causes jazz to shudder in pure, unrelenting horror.

The image you see here more or less came out the way I'd envisioned. While Jazz's reaction, in the real world, is clear (and understandable), I was the image in her head to be of Jazz, more or less playing the moment straight, reacting as any woman would, on what's supposed to be the happiest day of her life. Meanwhile, Dash turned out pretty much the way I'd envisioned him, too, with everything from his tacky wardrobe to his clearly inappropriate behavior meant to show him being as utterly classless as humanly possible. Is it any wonder Jazz reacts to the thought with such disgust?
