Description
For Onikamow and her herd, the coastal forests of Laramidia are a lush and excellent feeding ground. Our young heroine is munching peacefully on a fern when suddenly, she spots a feathered dinosaur not far from her, an immature Latenivenatrix mcmasterae, the largest of the troodontids.
Onikamow has never seen one of these animals before, but it reminds her of other, smaller bird-like dinosaurs, which she and her siblings enjoy chasing. Thinking she might have some fun, Onikamow runs towards the young theropod. But to her dismay, it does not let out an alarm call and run off, but lifts its head from the burrow it was examining, puffs out it's feathers and starts hissing at her. She stops, confused, and stares at the other dinosaur, who once it realizes that it's threat display is not working, snaps at her ankle.
Onikamow feels a jolt of searing pain as her attacker's small but razor sharp teeth slice her foot. She breaks free and let's out a startled call as she runs back to the rest of her herd.
