Description
I'm doing that December Pokemon challenge on Tumblr but I added these rules:
- NO GEN 1-2 (unless it’s necessary)
- Avoiding pokemon that I did previous year
- Keeping it gen 6 focused
And here's Day 12 - Avalugg. Avalugg is amazing but hard to draw I should have worked with perspective. This painting was done in GIMP.

I belive it's because of its stats. Great defenses, great attack, but as a special, its pathetic. It's special defense is just incredible bad.

Doesn't help that it's an Ice type;
What do you use against Ice? Fire mostly, which 9 times out of 10
will be special (Unless it's Flare Blitz).
I'm wondering if it would be a good Mega Kangaskan counter due to it's sheer bulk, even though Kangaskan can learn Power-up Punch, but still I'm curious.

Avalugg seems to be a very underrated Pokémon. He's starting to grow on me a bit.

When I first saw it in battle manson, I imediately went to GTS asking for one. And I was like after 3rd badge. It was like the most amazing pokemon in the entire game I had seen by then.

Using a worms eye view was a great choice to show off the power and make avalugg appear mighty! Great job.
