Why is your art so amazing, but your icon looks cheap?

YUSS I'm so happy you drew it as a dinosaur... I can't stand it when people think it's a frog...

Pazur do kopania bulw Wraz z ogromną ilością trzewi.
Works fine to me.
To się weź do roboty, ale to już.

He looks fantastic! The drastic size difference of the inward front claws seem a little odd though.
I'm so glad that you didn't go the frog route like some people tend to do with their realistic renditions of Bulbasaur.

Gaah! Hypnotoad eyes! @_@
Actually I sort of like how this one came out. Of the three you've done, it's probably the one I can take the most seriously. It looks more like a pokemon than a dinosaur for once. This shows that the dinosaur-like style can be used, without it losing its pokemon 'heritage'.
Though, beyond that, I still really can't critique the style much... There is a point where the difference between the artist's style and the style of the character clash in such a way that it is difficult to understand what exactly I am trying to critique...

Beware of link spam.
Because in this one I was searching deeper. I went in my mind deep in my past and tried return the feeling that the pokemon gave me when I was a child. I tried see the idea of Bulbasaur when I was a child. When I found it, I could join the vision with my nowadays knowledge and todays mine idea of Bulbasaur.
And definitelly I didn't want to make another frog with a bulb (God, save us all: [link] [link] ) , or go even more further and change the whole pokemon into dicinodont (even if I kinda like the idea) [link] [link] .
Though these one are kewl too: [link] [link]
And the only frog like Bulbasaur looking good: [link]
I even thought about making the pokemon more colourful, since it is a part of poison type [link] But I abandoned the idea and kept the original colour sheme, just added some pink and brown.
Previous ones were just shallow interpretations, more like, sketchy interpretation, without getting deeper. The Charmander is dinosaur, cause dinosaurs are god damn cool, and what fits for Charizard if not dinosaur like apparence? The Squirtle is straight based on turtles, without more imagination put into it, that's propably why I liked it the least (and Squirtle is generally mine the most not liked starter from the first generation). I just had vision of oppened beak of turtle-ish Squirtle with Bubble one day, and thought: "gotta paint that soon!".
Cannot forgot about my style/imagination/weird visions and focus on an execution? You can always comment how plain the background is (but it was done for purpose) or how tip of the bulb looks cheap.

Wow, that 'shopped frog picture was horrible DX
I sort of like that you kept the normal color scheme in this one. And like I said, you incorporated the theme you were after in the other two images into this one without taking too much away from the pokemon image it is meant to portray.
Honestly, with the charmander... Looking back, I would have gone more toward an iguana-based dragon design instead of a miniature T-Rex base. But because my concept is different from even that, I don't know if It would work (scales would be difficult to see, if not non-existent).

Heh chyba bulbasaur wyglada najlepiej z tych trzech! Choc charmannder też wygląda nieźle w realu ale jednak bulbasaur jest najlepsz! Świetne cieniowanie i detale!

I honestly wouldn't expect its mouth to be so beak-like. Also, I think the inside front toes are too large. I like the eyes though.
