Have I mentioned how much I love this drawing program? I would have never been able to do fins like that with my old one. It's amazing!

Anyways, here's a redo of my pencil merstuck I did a little while back. I said I'd redo it once I was done with my comic and here it is.

It's for a fic I'm thinking about writing where a fairly human Karkat meets a merman John at about age 12 (I said 9 before but I changed my mind). Shenanigans ensue and Karkat finds out he's half Merman, meaning he get's a fin whenever it's submerged in seawater. This pic is one of his first times in the water.

I really like this story and am trying to make the story work well. I'm hoping to start it as soon as I'm confident enough with writing schedule to add another story. Or I'm done with my current story, either one. I'll post a link when I start it.
