Working on a couple of characters to bulk up the ol' resume. This is the first draft of a mermaid girl I've been bouncing around in my head for awhile. I wanted to get away from the whole "Little Mermaid" look for something a little more fish...ish.
Anyways, this is just a first go-round. I think I'd like to work on doing a little less with the fins and a little more with accessories. The ocean is just so full of neat stuff! I tried a sand-dollar breastplate but it just ended up looking like a giant cookie. Mmmm, giant cookie -_-
