Changed my shutter speed to 1/200. Turned on the flash. Placed my apple in the sink and my finger on the shutter button. Turned on the water and clicked.

First of all, I like the effect and capture you did of the water. One thing though, with the apple and water, it's hard to tell which one you are focusing more on. One this I would do is to make everything else black and white and keep color on the object you are trying to focus on. That way, you eyes move to that object. I hope that makes sense.
