A commission done by ---> ~ElkaArt <---. The only things that are mine here are the idea and the money. And of all things, I did want to see what a crystal changeling would look like. I believe this here is a rather successful representation of that possibility.

I must say, he did a great job here. The changeling's body and even wings do look crystallized, and that green sparkling sheen both helps outline the details and shapes better and looks just right for a changeling. It brings out that certain insectoid aspect they have. It makes their "skin" look like an insectoid carapace .
The maker also did a marvellous job with the outlines. I like that deliberately sketchy style with lines doubling and differing in intensity, they produce a rather unique effect that is fitting for Crystal Ponies and crystallized others.
To top it all off, the mushrooms here provide some nice illumination to set things up near.
