Princess of the Zoras: Ruto from The Legend of Zeldabut my redesign of her.
I still cant fix my mouse, guess I will have to get a new one, because I dont like using mousepad x_x
Thats one of the reasons I never finished this pic, so here's a WIP of the file, and I still dont know if I should finish it; I like it, very much, but, what do you think?
Should I finish it? This is only a detail shot of her head, the picture is full body ~

Sweet, I wish I had photoshop....but I have GIMP, I like it, but it's only on my laptop and I suck at using it....so I guess it's just colored pencils and gel pens for now.

I personally love traditional art, even when Im not that good at it.
I can compare it with PS just because I have seen really wonderful pieces of artwork made with gel pens
and I would like to practice with them, but thats just my opinion.
anyways, if you want to use any program to make digital art, it really doesnt matter too much wich one you choose, since the result will actually be the same,so if you go for GIMP, then its good ^^

and yeah, it was starnge for me too.
The difference is mainly about your userpage and how you can customize it, by adding some extra modules, like one for creating Polls, adding some custom boxes to put Stamps in them or maybe to feature some of your works.
you can display your favourite pictures in a bigger size, or maybe add a slideshow of your gallery.
when you browse, you can see like 120 images, more than the default 20 or something.
you can Beta test some other features and talk about them in Betatesters forums and some things like that.
and I think those are the main characteristics ^^
