I think it looks nice myself. Though, I'm wondering why Octavia is Ursula, and is she a nicer version of her?
And is there a backstory to this universe? I'd like to see an MLP version of the little mermaid.

Eheheh.. well, I'm glad, then..! And, although her appearance might heavily inspired from Ursula, no, Tavi is not Ursula and this is not a crossover..!
The only backstory I can give you is the technical one.. I mean, I've drawn Seapony Lyra before, and when there's Seapony Lyra there's Octaviapus..!
Tavi appears to be such a high class lady, so I gave her royal treatment there..! She's the sea ruler, and the mermaids are her subjects..! Oh, and that staff she's holding there, it's the Trident of Poseidon from PotC: Dead Men Tell No Tales.. hence, the Taviseidon..! Hahaha..!
