Okay.. so.. I was bored, and had this idea to draw TheWanderer93 's funny comic about Tavi and Vinyl..but then, half way there.. I suddenly realized, and thought "Whoa.. what do they actually witness there..?"
So, I'm leaving it to the hand of the audience..

hehe oh yea, I remember that. think your reply was something like... 'not defenseless, just less defense' lol. hehe yea it is pretty rare when you can interact with an artist this much. I understand though, artists are people and not everyone has a lot of time to interact with their fans. hehe artists in particular because a decent chunk of their time goes to making art.Β
hehe think ta-na being baekgup is questionable because I'm pretty sure that baekgup is a girl. not long ago there was a baekgup account on deviantart but someone pointed out it wasn't the real one because they knew her [baekgup] in real life and she didn't have an account on deviantart. hehe I'm not just being nice lol. is it so hard to believe that your artwork is... good? haha. but who's artwork is better? hehe that depends on who you ask me thinks. like out of those artists, of course they're all good but I would say I like yours and uotapo's artwork more than danmakuman and butch-x. hehe isn't that the nature of subscribing and watching, like... 'ooo I really like the stuff this person makes and really look forward to what they might make in the future. I'm gonna subscribe' hehe now you got that pressure that people expect things from you and feel obligated to do it. i think it helps to just have a healthy respect for the artist and the fans. appreciate each other but don't think you owe each other anything. hehe know I've said this before but you can just do what you've always done, make art when you feel like it and if you don't then don't. seems fair to me

And~..! I don't know if I ever told you this, but that is one of the reasons I prefer not to be famous..! Because then I can interact with everyone here..! I can't imagine how did fyre-flye (L. Faust) manage to keep up with so many questions from the fandom back then..! Questions about Luna.. about bg chars.. and so many other things..!
Anyway, yeah..! Shortly after I put that comment, I went and asked the artist myself.. and turned out they are two different people..!
And yes..! My "art" is not really that good.. no, it's not even 'good'..! Ahaha..!
Well, in terms of the "good drawing".. for me, it's not just visually pleasing..! I mean, some artists including me, just draw things without anything in it..! But uotapo, butch-x, and even danmakuman, draws a scene..! There is something going on in their pics and we know it..!
Me? I'm still trying to do that.. but fail miserably.. ahahahaha..!
Yes, people subscribe or watch because they like what they see.. but I don't know, from my experience here, watchers come and go..! I mean, I have like 2k watchers (whoa, I didn't even realize that), but most of them are from past years and are no longer active accounts..!
And you don't have to worry about I can just do what I've always been doing, isn't that what I've been doing..? And I will keep doing it..! Wait.. what have I been doing, exactly..? Am I actually doing what I've been doing..? pffwahaha..!

haha oh yea, that's a habit I was trying to change for a while. realized I would leave funsies comments but forgot to say what i really wanted to say about the artworks, like what i liked and tellin 'em good work.Β
hehe that's pretty cool, when you put it like that it kinda makes you sound like a 'cozy and charming small town' instead of a 'busy hustle and bustle big city' kind of artist person ^^ gotta say I do think that makes you pretty unique. not everyone can take the time to talk to their fans like this, especially times like this where everyone is so busy and doesn't have that much time to spare to do so. oh yea I'm surprised faust could do it! she's always working hard on a project, surprised she can make that kind of time. hehe well I hope you can keep it up and that it stays fun for you.
hehe you really think that's true? your artwork doesn't seem to have much in it but I feel like there are scenes. wait of course there are, you've said so lol. there's an ongoing story, it's just subtle. hehe I'm just saying, last thing I think seeing one of your things is that 'nothing is going on' not like a portrait lol. theres a story in there somewhere ^^

hehe but seriously it happens for one reason or another. people grow out of mlp, or deviantart. what's there to say really that 'friendship through the ages' doesn't say? lol. 'nothing stays the same for long. but when it changes doesn't mean it's gone. time will always get away as it leaves behind another day~!' haha that song is too cute, can substitute the word friendship for anything and make it work xD haha anyway just keep being you and do what you do. that shouldn't be too hard.

Eheheh.. well, you're not the only one who does that, though.. I sometimes just leave a witty comment and forget to say what it is I like about the art.. but that's because it is already widely known that their artwork is a masterpiece..! Ahahaha..! Naah that's just me dodging things..!
And.. well.. yeah, maybe in a way I am a 'cozy little village' kind of person, but I sure do prefer to live in a cozy place.. and luckily, I am living in such place..! Like the Ponyville, everyone knows each other, and they are living together as one big family..!
Well, compared to The Faust, who's still answering fans questions regularly even now, I'm not really that unique..!
Anyway.. Yep, as I said before, we know what it is happening in those Legends' drawings..! But in mine, what is going on..? Like for example, the Trio are doing a makeover to Sunny.. it might look cute, but it raises questions..! They know that my drawings are somehow connected with each other, but they still don't know what is happening..! I failed to deliver my story..! Ahahaha..!
And yeah, I am aware that people come and go..! I'm sure we all experience it too..!
speaking of friendship through the ages, yeah..! The lyric is good and quite "philosophical", but I of course have ways to look at things beyond what it seem.. mwahahaha..!
Ah well.. of course I'm going to keep doing what I do, I wouldn't just stop and be done with it..!

i notice that most people out there don't reply to comments, because they're busy or english isn't their first language, but they read them and appreciate them. hehe so even if they don't reply on the off chance they read it they'll know someone appreciates their work even those big names.Β

hehe I think ambiguous describes your drawings pretty well. like anyone can tell from looking at your gallery that there's something connected all these drawings. it's kinda like reading a comic with the text not put in yet. they certainly seem interesting that I'd want to ask what's going on. like why are there two sunset shimmers and why's fluttershy a vampire and what's with the hidden blade? really want to know what's going on in this world.

Well, I think the reason would be because they're busy or would rather spend time in drawing than replying comments.. I don't think English is their problem though..! Yeah, speaking of read and appreciating comments, I've seen a stamp saying "I always read the comments even if I don't respond".. I was like, 'oh okay'.. but then next line appeared; "Do you?" and I was like 'Ha, challenge accepted..!'Β And shortly after, I found a stamp saying "I try to reply to every comment I receive" or something, and I was like 'yea, I support this..!' ahahaha..! Funny, huh..?
Yep.. that is how people keep the peace.. yeah again, pretty much like in Ponyville..! Nowadays people live in the crowd, but they're on their own.. ah but they say they'll be fine as long as they have credit card and insurance..! Ahahaha..!
And, naah I'm not special..! I'm ordinarily mediocre..!
Ahahaha.. ambiguous sounds like a flaw..! Even in the silent comic, we can still somehow tell what is going on and what is the message..! But in mine, it's only cute because of the characters in it..! Without them famous chars, my drawings would be nothing..! Ahahahaha..! Although, there are some creative people who actually made some interesting interpretation..! Like that person who thinks that this (my drawing) is an AU where Sunset is all Buffy the Vampire Slayer, with hidden stake on her arm, and Fluttershy as the cute vampire partner..!

I feel like I see that a lot though, like see quite a few artists from places like japan and their profiles say something like 'don't know english and this was written using a translator' hehe so they could probably read the comments they get but might not know how to respond to them. haha reply to every comment is quite a challenge, I can't even keep up with what little I got xDΒ

oh wow does uotapo respond to comments? I had no idea, from my experience when i've seen artists that have japan or china as their listed country they don't usually respond to comments.

Anyway~.. well, looking at the other artworks on dA alone proves it..! Even some tumblr only artists have interesting drawings..! And I'm not limiting my comparison to mlp art only..! Mwahahaha..!
And yes, this too is a mediocre drawing..! Again, I'm not talking about the technique or style, I'm talking about the "art"..! Indeed, I admit some artists draw less beautiful than me, but their drawings have something that makes them so very interesting.. like the ideas, for example..!

Well, my ideas are not as interesting as other artists.. their ideas are really really simple, yet so catchy people like it very much..!
Sure the ambiguity of my drawings sometimes arousing curiosity as to what is really happening, but no.. not interesting enough..! People are curious, but only small number of them actually wondering what is really happening..! The rest of them would just enjoy their favorite characters being featured in my drawings..! Isn't that what they come here for..? Ahahah..!
