This is my take (or guess) on Swirlix's evolution. I'm not sure what Swirlix is supposed to be but its pink fluffiness reminded me of an alpaca so that's what I did. I know its official evolution will probably be a poodle or a bigger candyfloss so I went with what I'd like to see instead.
Looking at it now, it seems a large jump. Oh well, hope you like it anyway.

Looks like Reese from Animal Crossing. Looks better then the official one though, this should be a split evolution.

I want this to be canon so badly. Like, even if it was an evolution of Slurpuff. An alternate route for Swirlix would work too. I need one of these on my teaaaam.

i think if you don't win ( which is extremly unlikely to happen ) then you should put Swirlix and Alpapop together in another picture

Swirlix is cotton candy, and it's a fairy type because in Australia, they call cotton candy "fairy floss".
Really like this one's design, especially the lollipop tail.

By the way, since you weren't sure, Swirlix is supposed to kinda look like a poodle, but an alpaca is cool too.

Yeah when I first seen Swirlix I was thinking maybe it could become a cute alpaca since I noticed they are popular now. Now this new Pokemon, Torimian, is here and some people say it's a poodle and others say it's an alpaca. But people think that Swirlix will be a poodle too and you can tell that these two pokemon aren't related. Confusing.

I don't think it really matters in the long run. A lot of Pokemon change species when they evolve (a fish becomes an octopus), and your evolution looks great.
