For erasing the anger, the sadness, and strife
Thank you for being there, and changing my sight
You altered my vision, now living seems right
I know I'm not perfect, but I'll do my best
This is truly an attraction, that's far beyond the flesh
You pulled my life, up out of the pit
Out of the vomit, the blood, and the spit
You took my hand, and held it far from the gun
Out of the darkness, and into the sun
I most likely wouldn't be here, if it wasn't for you
You saved my life, you pulled me through
Now I must return the favor to you
nothing's too much, its the least I can do
no problem's too big, I will always understand
