Description Ohhhh, the Godfather bird.

A miserable, loathsome creature that haunted my mornings in the insomnia-plagued summer of '06. Most insomniacs, I think, grow to resent birds and their chirpy, senseless twittering--which I won't argue, is annoying in it's own right. --But THIS bird... oh, this bird was far worse.

It’s call, though piercing, was not light or twittering. It, rather, honked.

”HOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooowaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAA AAAAAAAAH!” --to my nearest approximation. Repeatedly. Incessantly. Beginning at sun-up and commencing, non-stop, throughout the day. For. Hours. At. A. Time.

--This particular sketch is my best estimate to the appearance of the bird—homely. Grudgingly so—with a barrel-chested thickness amounting to a sizable lung-capacity that alone can account for the degree of it’s wailing.

Drawn via Wacom in Photoshop one afternoon—while watching the Godfather on DvD (hence the detestable creature’s title).
