Description
Newt is the messenger of the Center, responsible for the Morticians squad. He joined the Scavengers back in their golden era, iinspired by gang ideals - or, rather, the ideals that one of the Scavengers introduced to him. Soon enough Newt learned that the gang, in fact, was neutral and wasn't trying to stop the war, but by that time he had made friends among his “colleagues” and therefore decided to stay.
Newt is the true soul of the company, which has a great effect on the morale level in the Center, especially in light of some of the last year's events. Responsible and thorough in his work, he earned the respect of the gang's leader Varan, and his positive attitude was a pleasant contrast to the disposition of the average Scavenger.
In recent years, Newt has often begun to overstay with his respective squad, which is usually frowned upon for messengers, but in his case this fact is often overlooked - the Morticians, after all, are an extremely small team even by gang's standards, and the help of another adult dragon for them is very useful. However, something about Newt began to bother Varan - in his eyes, he is no more suspicious than the Center's other dragons, but still he would not call him completely reliable (whether Varan trusts at least someone in his gang is a whole different story).

Look who has a name now! Newt’s role in the plot has increased quite a lot, and it is very possible that I'll make him the protagonist of the second storyline of "The Scavengers". Not very happy with the description, by the end of the year I'm kinda tired, but I still threw in some bits of the plotline - you can try to think what's the matter with this character 👀

P.S.: actually I did this sheet of sketches back in November (finished it the same week as Breeze’s design practice), I just couldn’t decide on this dude's name for a long time and didn’t get around to writing the text. In the end, I’m even glad that I waited, Newt has so much more lore now.
