Imagine if it was your job to make it rain? You'd do your best to just enjoy it once in a while!So yeah, pretty simple animation. I actually drew this in Sai as an experiment; it's quite a nice little program, but I don't think it's for me. I'll leave it to the more artistic ponies
I planned on getting something out yesterday. Ended up falling asleep at my desk for 3 hours... hence why I whipped this one up today instead

The background looks way better in the APNG version btw. And I guess you could spare us da's outgoing site if you uploaded the png to stash next time (if that doesn't give problems with stash's preview image).

I didn't really know what stash was for. I take it it's for storing images then? I can try it out next time, if dropbox bothers people

Stash is basically just like normal da deviations with preview image, view count etc., but it won't appear in your gallery and can't be submitted to groups. So it is great for additional material like source files or alternate versions of files. Or for sharing files with a limited number of people or preparing deviations (you can submit them to your gallery from there). I don't have anything against dropbox in general, but it makes one more link to click.

For whatever reason, this got Adele's "Set Fire to the Rain" playing in my head, and I started imagining some epic battle between RD and Celestia... Because if the Princess has direct control of the Sun, she might also have personal control of its enormous amount of radio energy. And with that amount of power, she could literally light up the rain. [link]
