Beautiful line art. So mysterious, so ephemeral yet, almost seems like a part of the branch he sits on, yet undeniable there and his own being. I supose it's all the cloth tied to the branch and fluttering in the find. The petals that swirl around him alsmost seem to come from him with that little detail on his left shoulder, especially with the slight red tinge of the flesh underneath. Petals formed from his skin, stained red by his blood.
Though the chains are discrete it is enough to make one wonder, what is the purpose of this delicate thing, to entwine the spirit or the tree? Perhaps they are one and the same?

Whoa, I love this! Just look at those details in the branches. It really reminds me of actual trees and I really love the time and care you took to draw all those intricate ribbons and petals that all blow to the same direction. I'm not familiar with the deity that you have drawn but they look ethereal even without the fancy effects of digital painting
