I just hope there's no SJW woke in the game. I already pre ordered it. I know I shouldn't pre order games but I'm on a tight budget after taxes and the price afterwards may not be easy thing to stomach right now.

That's what I am wary of too. I preordered it too since it's really cheap but if story will be full of bad propaganda I'm going to try to refund it. What I expect storywise it's to see both good sides of humanity and aliens interactions and bad sides on both sides human and alien alike or even alien vs alien alike since they all are different spieces that share only one common thing, being fecked up by eternals. I want to see humans being bad to aliens, attempt to do terrorist attacks, and same thing on the side of the aliens.
Hell I'd love if some missions would be centered around rouge ex X-com fighters(both humans and the alien hybrids from Xcom2) stirring trouble in the city only to murder and/or capture some seriously PTSD ridden people who not only cannot function in normal society, they will never trust any concept like that City 31 or whathever it is called.
Basically I want to see moral ambiguity, because that setting and the story behind it is ripe for the picking when it comes to possible stories.

I'm personally hoping to see the YouTube Earth who are against this SJW stuff chime in about the game 1st before I opened it up or installed on to make computer. Because at that point if there is confirmation about how bout it is then I can refund it without having to of played the game.

For the record, the new game doesn't seem to have recruitment as an option. You start with a few humans, a viper, a muton, and some skirmishers. Maybe a few others, but I only glanced through the game's screenshots.

Modders already did. And if the assets are backportable, you can bet your ass XCOM 2's getting the models.
Also, technically only Zephyr is a Skirmisher. Cherub was actually from a fresh ADVENT batch that didn't go through indoctrination because the War ended.
