Description So many artists just starting at it have trouble drawing a character with a gender that isn't their own.

I used to have the same problem, and to an extent I still do. (At least in the context of my self-critical masochism)

At the same time, I want to practice drawing a character that is recognizable in different angles, different outfits, different contexts, different hair styles and so on.

And I was bored.

In short, this is an attempt to take established character and swap their genders, maintaining the traits that make them recognizable while changing them in a fairly substantial way.

I figure, if you can draw a male character as a female and vice versa, you can draw anyone from the start.

This little experiment was fun and challenging- it forced me to analyze facial structure and in particular eye shape and adjust accordingly.

Unfortunately the scanner ate that corner by Sakura again. D:

None of these characters belong to me. All copywrite Masashi Kishimoto.
