FINALLY.

This is C'Keda, the counterpart to Drema. I would say he's the villain, but he's not... not really. He goes through a lot in the story and 180s on a lot of things. He's one of the main characters in one of my upcoming books (Fatal Mechanisms), but really the focus of this piece is for portfolio purposes. If Fatal Mechanisms were ever to become a game, I'd want it to be a 3rd person survival shooter in SPACE.

C'Keda is the warden of a massive prison ship called the Finn. As a military general and expert biomachinist, his goal is to discover a cure for the leader of the organization he works for - she's actively dying of a fungal plague. The problem is, his leader is willing to do whatever it takes to get her cure, and eventually he realizes that it goes against his ethics, making the decision to overthrow the organization. C'Keda is a Zomoranian, a member of a race of people who have replaced 95% of their bodies with machines in order to become as close to an android as possible. He is exceptionally smart, almost too smart for his own good, and throughout the book learns what it means to hurt and be hurt.

This piece is going into my art portfolio, so here's hoping C'Keda helps me get a job!
