God I've been torn lately. I'll save you my life story and just say I made a few mistakes a few years ago and got myself scarred for life, might as well be a self-inflicted wound because I'm not blaming anyone but myself. All and all, I've found myself drawn back into the world of and . Again, sparing any drama, let's just say I burned a big bridge. However, 's work still hypnotizes me. Curse my rushing supply of testosterone! And since Maximus (front) has been turned into a dark elf recently, I couldn't help but compare him physically to Donovan Keiran, my favorite character from the MSF High comic. (Back)

Maximus was both blessed and cursed with his new form. While he was still fighting for his brother Darkside for a time, he was defeated by his other brother John and was severely wounded. Darkside was able to heal Maximus using dark magic, but at the price of Maximus' bonds to the Light. He was transformed into a dark elf and permanently bound to the Darkness. Even after Darkside was defeated and Maximus rejoined the forces of good, he was still stuck in this form and his light-based abilities were locked deep in his heart with the rest of his remaining light. As days rolled by, news of an approaching multiversal conjunction with a multiverse Eden has crossed paths with before spread throughout Eden, and Maximus lamented as memories of his greatest mistake came back to haunt him.
