And here's the robotic big bad mystery monster himself: Maximilian from The Black Hole (Albeit more human in shape). Maximilian has taken on many forms since he escaped the Hellverse and attempted to conquer the Eden Galaxy numerous times. In this form, he's fully decked out in a power armor exo-suit with laser pistols, swords, a rocket pack and even mechanical wings that double as connecting appendages able to jack-in to his supercomputer mainframe when not in action, linking him to the hive mind of his machine army. Maximilian hasn't been seen since his "final" defeat in the computer core of his last physical stronghold, but Jonathan Maxim is still convinced he's not gone yet, and has such set out on a solo mission through the systems of the Eden Multiverse in search of Maximilian's remaining consciousness.
