In the mornings when the ground is moist, little Chaz runs around outside in different footwear. Foolishly, he takes the same path each time, and steps in the same mud puddles every time (sometimes getting stuck). When Chaz comes back inside, he does not think to clean his paws... and he makes a mess. o.o

Well, sometimes, s*** happens and you cant do anything about it. Though, he could perhaps use his brain:
i go out, get muddy, bring mud in house, get shouted at. To avoid being shouted at i dont get dirty or clean up before i come back inside.
