Combining winter with any semblance of happiness is basically impossible for Isabel. The last time snow took the Domain, it only brought suffering. It'd taken family, home, and very nearly half her face... the memories of which only seem more and more insistent to rear their heads the more frozen rivers she finds.

At least it's quiet. She can do quiet.

Little does she know that winter is about to take much more from her. What exactly that is, and if it will ultimately prove good or bad, isn't quite clear.
