Cover for a retro video game. I wanted the scene itself to look 90s or 80s as well. Crackpots was originally an Activision game for the Atari 2600, where a man throws flowerpots off a building at an advancing army of spiders. The scenery is taken from a CGI render in Poser. The artwork was sketched digitally and inked traditionally on sheets of paper. Coloring and shading was done in Photoshop.
