Description
I finally got myself some Filters (CPL/ND) and have seen a Video by Brent Hall on YouTube yesterday. He used his CPL for Astrophotography to get a darker Black and better Contrast in general. The only downside is, you need much more light. This comes with the need of slower shutterspeed and therefore a higher risk of blurring.
I was lucky, the Moon shined bright tonight and was perfect to be photographed. I wanted to try it out and since my last try to photograph the moon was ruined, due to a dirty sensor. I was happy to finally get a pleasant photo of the moon.
I found myself very lucky. The moon was actually so bright, that I able to get the Aperture down to F10 for a good sharpness (even with the CPL) and the shutterspeed on just 1/10 of a second.
My only problem was: My longest lens only has 210mm.
I had to crop the photo very much. From 4000px in height, down to only 1000px! (The 4000px version will also be included in the premium downloads.)
Color Correction was made with Photoshop.
