Description Now, just to let you know, I apologize for the title not being right, due to running out of spaces, and for the broken fence on the striped coloured CP Rail Diesel on the third spot of the track. I'll find a way to get that fixed.
In the meantime, here are the mainline diesels as brief appearances until some of them get their stories probably.

Serena (right):
A female Canadian National GP38 unit diesel engine who is a hard worker and always gets the job done on time. She is also Simon's big sister back when they were switchers. Until, years later, Serena was selected to become a better and yet stronger diesel locomotive in the early 70s later on.
Despite that she's a female engine, which she accepts to be, Serena is most likely a Tomboy than just having to act all girly in her opinion. Due to the fact she's encountered most male engines who don't treat her equally (unlike the C&F boys) and don't play fair for her to be helpful to most engines because she's a girl. With that, Serena often times dislikes boys for now (except Simon and another brother of hers) and decides to be a bi-sexual instead (mostly into girls and less into boys for now). Only to keep herself safe now that she's got a girlfriend from the state of Washington who'll be introduced in the bonus characters BIO later on.
All in all, she may not be nice to some boys but doesn't downright hate them unless something they say offends her, she is always loyal, kind and hard-working to keep things in works order. And she's supportive to most girls (including Krystal, Julie, Betty, etc) as good friends no matter what.

Mighty Joe (middle right):
A male, dark coated Canadian National (former Santa Fe) FP45 unit diesel and big brother of Serena and Simon when he, too, was also a switcher back then until upgraded into this kind of unit.
Joe is also a strong engine but doesn't talk in normal ways like most engines and humans do these days. But when he does, it's usually him saying his first name than "I" (sorta like Yona from MLP saying that).
His title, "Mighty", was used for Joe because of his strength of hauling freight back the in the 60s before times have changed with upgraded freight cars getting heavy and heavier later on. Nowadays, until he is upgraded into a new type of diesel locomotive, he takes things a little easy including hauling up to 10 or 20 cars, helping out shunting with one of his siblings and being a backup helper for one of Mr. Hildebrand's steam locomotives for both tourist and excursion works whenever he's needed.

Reggie (middle left):
A male Canadian Pacific SD40-3 unit diesel engine who works on the Canadian Pacific Railway lines across Canada in his whole life.
Everyday he works mostly on freight and makes sure that it gets there on time. He's also a good diesel to talk to and doesn't mind helping out other engines for reasons like Bradley, Serena and Mighty Joe do. He always encourages other engines, including the steam engines, to keep being awesome no matter what and apologizes of what one of his other CP diesels have said badly towards them or while passing by. But not all CP diesels are that bad...yet.
Even though he was built around the mid 70s, 45 years ago, he's still in good working orders and gets checked in every once a month incase something's not right with him.
Sometimes, whenever he's in a bad time or feels down, he never forgets how much friends he has made for a very long time when he was built here and likes to be the best of friend any engine could ever have.

Edmond (left):
Another male Canadian Pacific diesel engine. This time an SD40-2 unit and not the brightest engine to talk to though he's sometimes a decent friend to Reggie who he works with once in a while.
Edmond is also a hard worker and tends to get the job done in time. Unfortunately his attitude towards some engines/folks, especially steam engines and rail-fans who support them, is a lot more worse than of Farnsworth.
Everyday he is always needed to work around the northern borders of America, where he is actually built from, and usually acts like this all the time with pride and glory (in the American way) thinking he's better than most folks who he calls them misfits because of their differences they like better. He doesn't believe that everyone is better with differences equally and tends to be demanding, arrogant, somehow racist, self-centred and careless unless he gets what he wants for himself which, unfortunately, he doesn't really...yet.
Edmond will also become a bit of a rival to Connor trying to make him stop being himself and give up for being special anymore while dealing with Farnsworth defending him. Even though his tricks tends to get himself into MORE trouble including almost breaking the law or nearly killing some folks without even looking or realizing it.
Who knows how things will turn out for Edmond's behaviour? Will it be the right time he sees his own mistakes? Or just goes around making everyone's days miserable as always? Only time will tell.
