I wouldn't call this bad poetry. It's a whole lot better than some of the trash I've read on DA (and I'm being nice). Anyway, I think the last strophe there is sort of a let down, but I dig the brainwaves. I'm with sigur, keep trying stuff out ^_^

you're right, this type of "form" is quite popular here in DA, and the classical poetic structures often don't receive tremendous following, for a bunch of reasons, one being - a lot of "poets" (i echo the quotation) are not versed in classical form, and thus can not appreciate and moreso, recreate its beauty.

anyway, this poetry is actually not that bad. the line breaks also seem to affirm the theme, as suggested by the title "brainbreaks".
