And here is a css cheat sheet that I use that might be helpful: [link]
If you don't know css before going into this, you may have a harder time figuring out how to do this, and unfortunately I don't know any really good css tutorials, but once you figure out what's going on css is pretty easy.

I know! D: It's really confusing for people who don't know css... I keep thinking of trying to put together a absolute beginners guide to making journal skins for people who have never used css before, but I have no confidence in my ability to explain such things... D:

I traced one that already existed and made it into the character that I wanted, I drew and colored it in Paint Tool SAI and animated it in Gimp.
