The 12 Gauge shotgun is one of the best close quarters combat weapons ever, a salvo of buckshot is enough to make even the meanest monsters think very carefully about their next actions. No one knows this better than the Compass Group.

After a close call with SCP-354-1 during the ongoing exploration of SCP-354 in ██09, The Modular Shotgun Kit-12 Gauge Model 0 was adopted after current issue pump actions were deemed insufficient. This revolving shotgun feeds through a three or six round revolving mechanism, any standard Sagia 12 magazine or a 62 round belt. The MSK12G is considered by some within TCG to be the Ar-15 of Semi-Automatic shotguns and it's delayed gas actuated toggle action mechanism only has three moving parts and three springs which can be fine tuned for an absurd rate of fire. Many MSK12G's cycle at over 7000 RPM, although even the best shooters within TCG who have trained with this weapon their entire lives can barely reach 1000 RPM, which reveals it's critical flaw, the MSK12G is so violently over gassed that some shooters have been left with minor burns on their arms and hands from the gas venting from the action. The reciprocating mass of the toggle itself can shatter a cinder block and the muzzle blast can rupture ear drums. Despite that draw back, the 12G can accept any 12 gauge shell of any length, and can be counted on to cycle reliably no matter the situation.

Despite the advantages of the MSK line of self loading shotguns, Winchester's W1200, W2000 and W4100 remain in active service with The Compass Group, simply because these shotguns can can use all standard and specialized shells currently in TCG's armory, while the MSK's don't cycle correctly with many of the specialized shells.
