Description
EDIT; I decided to give Soundwave here an update as well, he still turns into a "Police Car" but now it's a heavily armored military-class assault vehicleDECEPTICON COMMUNICATIONS/ESPIONAGE AGENT SOUNDWAVE
ALTERNATE MODE; Police Issue Armored Car
ENERGON ABILITY; Psionic Frequency Manipulation, Vehicle Mode Cloaking
SIGNATURE WEAPON; Sonic Pulse Lazer, Concussive Missile Pods, Arm Mounted Mini-Guns
VOICE ACTOR; Isaac C. Singleton Jr.
THEME SONG; Beastie Boys "Sabotage"
One of a seemingly rare breed, Soundwave is utterly loyal to Megatron. He is always willing to do what Megatron orders him to do and is always speaking on Megatron's behalf. He even supports Megatron's personal vendettas (particularly the one against Optimus Prime) and will do all in his power to assist his leader in carrying out said vendettas in the most efficient (and cruelest) ways possible. Because of his nature as a "brown-nose", not a single Decepticon likes Soundwave at all, the only Decepticons that do like him are his small entourage of Minicon partners. Still, he does his job and follows orders without question, Megatron isn't exactly lenient towards anything less than that.

Movie Barricade was a very interesting character, a Decepticon taking an alt. mode that (most) humans could so easily trust, such a terrifyingly brilliant disguise. I'm surprise they didn't make Animate Soundwave into a police car, it seems like it would be a no-brainer, I mean what better Decepticon to have such a devious form than the ultimate espionage agent? Here he's shown with Laserbeak who can turn into a cell-phone among other things. Laserbeak and the other mini-cons under Soundwave's direct command can be stored in his two alt. mode cockpits which are in fact doorways to an artificial pocket dimension specifically designed for his mini-con agents.

Minus Laserbeak, what do the other mini-cons turn into?

Thing is, Animated Soundwave was more into mind control than espionage, so it wouldn't have fit that well.

it is kinda weird seeing how elements of soundwave made it into various characters in the first movie.. blackout and barricade both having kinda-sorta-cassette-guys that pop out of their engines..
and yeah, it's also interesting how very few decepticons have ever had convincing or useful disguises.. plus.. well back to those two, blackout had a copy of a serial number from a downed copter, whereas barricade had a -customized parody graphic- XD
anyway this looks awesome!

It's true then.
The best place to hide something of great importance, is in plain sight.
