Guess who played with Overwatch models before playing with the Overwatch beta.
Been getting a lot of OW-related commissions after I got back from Dreamhack Winter for things like podcasts and promotional images, decided to have some fun with them on my downtime. I'm not gonna stop doing TF2 for a while because I fucking love TF2 but I'd love to do more non-TF2 stuff, like Soul Calibur & Mirror's Edge if the rigs worked nicely with me. Helps that the models out so far for OW are rigged up nicely with decent facial flexes.
Big thanks to everybody who ported and converted models so far not just from OW but just for Source use, I imagine that's a pain. You guys rock!

I see. I am working on Torbjorn. So far, his rigging is being done, and then I will hand it over to my buddy to work on the textures and the bodygroups. I will probably work on Winston and Junkrat next.

Any chance I can convince you or somebody who's free for porting to do Mercy and Lucio? Somebody who does some OW stuff wanted me to use those models in particular so idk if anybody's on it.

TVA, ConfederateJoe, Sed, and I, and possibly a few others are working on the Overwatch models. As far as doing Mercy, I have her on my list, but Lucio, we will have to see. Not sure if TVA, was able to get ALL the extracts, maybe a majority. However, we are considering doing as many extractions of characters as we possibly can, as well as rigging and restoring the textures and material lines. We will be adding extra features to them, including bodygroup controls and have them usable as playermodels. Still busy with Torbjorn, but I will talk with TVA and everyone else. I might not work on the whole pack because I still have a promise I wanted to keep about that wig you wanted.

Waiting on Zenyatta and a bunch more to be ported. So far Tracer, Widowmaker and D.Va (which I'm beta-testing from a friend) are the only ones I know that have been brought to SFM.

Does the "SS" part of Tracer's handle mean something?

Slipstream was a teleporting fighter jet developed by Overwatch that Tracer was first recruited to try out for its first test run. It didn't go very well, so why she'd keep the handle is beyond me but I guess maybe she's just too lazy/busy to change it to OWTracer or something with her real name.
