Well, from the perspective of a 31 y.o guy looking at his... o.k from a long-term appeal p.o.v cartoon and its 2011 counterpart ah think i'll go with the 2011 version. Certainly doesn't feel like betraying my childhood or anything. Sure the 80s version has the nostalgia power as well as the wild aura in your design (as much wild as you can get from an obvious kid) but the 2011 one easily communicates anthropomorphic cat here. Don't remember if 80s Kit had a tail but here she apparently doesn't and the only thing that says feline is that suspicion of claws on her feet. So yeah, 2011 takes the cake... or fur-ball, ah don't know

80s one I really disliked the storyline of the 2011 series. Artwork was good but story sucked

I've loving the drawing, but I think you got new Wilykit's fur tone wrong. She's actually much closer to her original colour, not this Cheetara yellow.

The one on the right looks cuter, but the one on the left looks less likely to resist. Go with the left for potential obedience.
