Edit: If this doesnt help you then don't pin me down for it! I dont think im the best at drawing hands but this is tips meant for people who have a lot of trouble with hands and this is just showing them ways they can help improve! I really can NOT believe the bullshit I'm recieving for some of this! D| Just cause it doesnt help you it doesnt mean others aren't learning from this.I dont think i'll be making anything else like this now.

A bit wordy XD But still I hope its helpful to those who struggle with hands. I myself struggle to draw hands most of the time too but these are just some basic tips to improving problems you may be having when it comes to hands.
I might do some more. If theres anything else you have a hard time with then I guess tell me >__O

Helpful thank you. Though in all of those areas I try to do what you say it never seems to work. Like when I try to give them a palm I accidentally leave out the wrist. Then when I try and fix it it messes up again

Hands must be tough for everybody to draw. That makes me feel better because I thought it was just that I was using ASCII that made it so farking hard for me to draw hands.

very nice tutorial.... well.. XD right it really isnt a tutorial...... i just like this alot better. I have tough times with hands but i know thers no short cut around it, i really like stuff like this to remind me that its all worth it later on after alot of practice....

this helped a lot =] Chrno Crusades helped too but mine still arn't right. i tried the whole "start with a roundish square for the base and then draw on tubes for fingers" thing but it just made my drawings look even more elementary! i guess copying hands until u can draw them freely works the best for mah

Rofl, I LOVE those facial expressions, especially the last one. The only troublesome thing I encounter with hands currently are the positioning :[. I've already got down the joints/wrist/palms, and I have for a while, but I can never draw the bloody hand in the bloody pose that I bloody want it to be in.

Oh my gosh! This is awesome! I am extremely bad at drawing people! Especialy hands. This rocks. I have drawn such crazy hands! No wrists, no palm and sausage fingers. Horrible, I know. This'll help me for sure.

I love this! One thing though, you may want to consider putting in a "bad" example whenever you mention how NOT to do something as well as a good example...it helps a tad bit.

It's less a tutorial and more like a checklist you've got here.
(Fingers not pointy? Check.
Palms exist? Check.
Wrist? Check.)
Etc. You make some good points. Maybe less ranting about what you hate in other people's art though, and more focus on the positive, encouraging aspects of your topic?
