This technique is awesome. Reminds me of the toon-shading in 3D. I'm looking forward to achieve a drawing and coloring style similar to this one... any advice?

Cool! I really like your style here! The only thing that bothers me is the spiky fur (is that fur?) on his back looks like the dark background shading comes through a bit to strongly and it's sort of confusing looking. Looks sweet though, overall.
