Because Jon X Felicia is nothing more than a LOL worthy creation made by horny fangirls who are too stupid to realize that not only is their personalities and interests completely different, but that they hate the kind of person the other is. Felicia Hates Mean people and Jon hates people who love humans.

They are both animal like characters that are intentionally paired together throughout the Darkstalkers series. Their opposite personalities are obvious, which was done purposely in order to provoke the audience into envisioning a pairing between the two. I read about one line of that link and stopped. It's just a hate blog for someone who's upset over trivial character shipping. I've never read any darkstalker manga so I don't even know if there were any legitimate pairings or not, but it's nothing to get upset about. If you don't like it, I suggest steering clear of furaffinity, rule34..., just stay off the internet....

No...just...just no. The opposite personalites are not for fanboys like yourself to picture them together, that's just who they are in the series, nothing more. There are no legitimate pairing, there never will be. If you couldn't read the whole thing and see the truth, you deserve to rot in a hole and die with all the other shipping-tards. O..k, first of all, seriously what??? No, I don't really think about the 2 screwing each other (dafuq dude). I'm just into the opposites attract kinda stuff, and I do think those 2 would make a great team at least (game wise if theres 2v2 in darkstalkers 4) and get along well. As a new fan, I'm sure Capcom is just wimpy about changing the fan perceptions of their games (case in point: Megaman, First 2-D games were awesome....and its shit in 3-D), so they are more inclined to tried and true titles like SF.
Secondly, the fact Capcom commissioned the recent manga (which I kind of like, but the story-line needs a bitch-slap for not being cohesive and not showing all characters>
Thirdly, yes, I know about their backgrounds (although technically Felicia's now a nun...). And yes, it'll be interesting to see how things work out if the 2 were stuck together in the new game (even if they just squabble the whole time, I'd think it'd open up some great dialogue between characters, bringing out more of their character and making the game more than just another brawler).

And let me add in that Appearance =/= Character. Character is personality, the effect these characters have on us as a player and a reader. You people that support these bullshit fan-pairings is alot of the reason why people like to laugh at and spit on the Capcom fanbase. Who to them are a bunch of nerds that when they're not bitching about MegaMan and telling off the company, they're consistenly trying to find ways to get their characters to screw one another because they're virgins with no lives.

Secondly, the fact Capcom commissioned the recent manga (which I kind of like, but the story-line needs a bitch-slap for not being cohesive and not showing all characters> ) could be their attempt to at least get people interested in the (face it) forgotten series, and character-wise, I do think Felicia would be the type to get to know Jon better (character-wise if they do meet in game plot), and it opens up opportunities for the new game to diversify(at least for PS or Xbox), like decision making and different endings, the sort.

If Capcom were to try and do this bullshit fan-pairing...not only would it piss ALOT of loyal fans of the series off (Me selling all my Capcom games/merchandise and never even touching another one of their products again for buttfucking a loyal customer of their products since the year 1995) but it would ruin what makes those characters who they are. Felicia is a Catgirl wanting to become a superstar and chase her dreams to become famous and make those she loves proud of her. Jon is a Werewolf who is desperately seeking out the answers to cure himself of his cursed blood. Do you think for a second that either of them would give up said goals just to fall in love with one another, especially when the other person is the kind of person that said first person can't stand? Fuck...the...Hell...NO.
If you want to support Darkstalkers fan-pairings that even have a chance of being possible...support Demitri X Morrigan...for unlike Jon and Felicia, they actually have connections IN GAME and not anywhere else that is considered bullshit Canon-wise to the actual series.
