Ahhh, Deadpool One of the few characters you can draw this way and still have it mesh with his zany personality and slapstick humor. ^^
I love it. I love that his rollerblades coordinate with his costume. I especially love the glittery reflections of the glistening disco ball.
I'll knock Dazzler outta there, roller-derby style, and skate with him instead.

I <3 Deadpool by Gail Simone, and this really captures it perfectly. I love how 'Pool's got a helmet even though he doesn't have much to fear from head injuries...

That was by far my favorite issue of Deadpool. Deadpool playing bodyguard with Rhino as a key-chain. Oh man. And with the antics that went on, i don't think anyone else coulda drawn it better.

I definitely liked this rendition of her more than her 80s blue costume
Great pic, love the fact Deadpool's trying to skate on rollerblades, lol ^_~. And as forementioned, Dazzler is much the hotness!

Why do they always do that to Dazzeler? That is why no one takes her seriously as a character. Nice cover though.

Make her look like a reject from The 70s show.

Yeah, she is alright but I just hate that they keep her in the 70s.

I think all superheroes should be stuck fast in their respective eras. Even better if they have their own practically unchanging world around them, like the Art Deco skyline of Metropolis or the decaying brownstones an gargoyles of Gotham. Granted the 70s disco scene isn't on par with those examples, but Dazzler isn't as iconic as the heroes of those worlds either.
Adapting and changing to roll with the tides of pop culture just dilutes the concepts.

Well, it might not be so bad if the character was stuck in the 70's, but I don't think people would buy the book, and the real problem is they make her stuck in the 70's but living in the 2010. Just bad.
I think characters should roll with changing tides. That is how normal folks live. You may have grown up in the 80's but you don't still wear parachute pants. If anything it makes the character more rich and grounded to have them roll with the tides.
