Description
Artist: Roberto CampusThis piece was done as a cover for Star Wars Insider , the official Star Wars fan magazine. The art director wanted the image to be an homage to the famous Days of Future Past cover from Uncanny X-Men #141 drawn by John Byrne.

I am amazed. The emotion on boi-wan's face its more than exelent. I wonder (looking at the poster behind him) if master Quinal vos is executed. How many masters have they escaped. We see only Saa-ti, Obi-wan, and yoda.
Is there any meaning at the "words" that are written in galactic basic? The language does exist or its the imagination of the artist...?

I also dig the DoFP reference and the artwork is spot on. however, I have one critique... the lightsaber handle is too small. If you take a look at the movies, the lightsaber handle is big enough to accomodate both hands for a samurai double handed posture. The lightsaber handle depicted in the picture looks only big enough for one handed dueling, ala the three musketeers and rapiers. Other than that, the picture is fantastic.

Obsolutely fantastic work! I am going to have to agree about the rear hand, however, it looks a bit disconnected from the wall. (and actually, now that I consider it, a bit deformed as well. Hands are difficult to draw though, so that's forgivable)

Such dramatic lighting on the figure, with some cool contrasting light sources from the right and lightsabre.
The impact of the spotlight gives such a heavy and tense mood to the situation, well executed.
Some slight shadow or detail on Ben's hand touching the wall would look good maybe some depth of field to the whole piece could heighten the situation even more also, nonetheless very cool.
