So yeah. Pretty much every game I've ever wanted to play is only for the Wii U.I mean, don't get me wrong, the Wii U looks amazing, but I don't want to spend more money on crap like this!

I have to agree with ya there,it would have been better if maybe the Wii U acted like an Upgrade to the normal wii so you wont have to spend as much money

I think the new Rayman game looks like the only fresh feeling title on the Wii U to be honest, New SMB U looks JUST like the other one on Wii and I never really got into Pikmin when i was little with my Gamecube, I always just played Wind Waker (My second favorite Zelda game.)

Sorry to say this Chris but you do know thay have pretty much just started the new super smash bros so I think what you saw of the game was fake however if you think you have found something new I would like to check it out for my self!

I can see why. They need good titles at launch if they want to console to do well. Otherwise it'll get a really slow start like the 3ds.
I'm going to just trade my wii in and hopefully get a good discount when I get the wii U

I have the same opinion whenever I see games released for PSP and PS3. No one in their right mind plays those. They interrupt my Ratchet and Clank fix T_T

I see what you mean. It must be worse being a sony fan because thay had a small hand full of games for there PSV for a hell of a long time! I gess that was why the PSV was sealing one hundred times less devices than the 3DS at one point!

I would have to agree, Nintendo needs to calm down for a damn second and actually let people enjoy their systems! I was actually looking forward to Pikmin 3 as well, cuse nothing is more fun then sending small adorable creatures to their death will devastating the local ecosystem!
But no Nintendo, you continue to mock me with your business practices!
Oh hey, I finally got a Nintendo Wii, I so look forward to getting the games I want mostly due to nostalgia!

you know as well as i do that their doing this for the sake of lining their pockets and not for the sake of the gamer (no offense) .I mean why do you think they made these games exclusive for the wii-u but you are wright they do need to calm down on this and i also can't wait for pikmin 3 either but that also means i am going to be gullible and pay for the new system since Nintendo's kinda twisted our arm on this am i right?

It's been 6 years. This is actually the right time for a new system to come, especially compared to before, when systems for nintendo used to come out every 4 years.

I was refering to their handheld games more then anything else, but I would prefer it a little longer.

If anything, they're pushing out the time in attempt to make the system live longer.

I would normally agree with this, but the amount of games I'm actually interested in that are quality games. "Metroid, Mario, Zelda, Pikmin, etc." Are too far and in between for me. :I

Then I'd recommend checking out more of the 3rd party stuff. Atlus did a lot of good stuff for the DS that was all really good.

You can play meny (if not all) gamecube games in there "virtual console" department! (And i find that to be AWESOME)

Its not anything unusual for people not to know about virtual console because PlayStation and Xbox don't have anything near to such a full fledged classic game department.

From what I understand, it will let you play classic Wii games on it, but you won't be able to play GameCube game (but you can download them).
