You're a damn liar, Shae. You know EXACTLY what you want, you just don't want to admit it!

A lot of the time, I don't have a lot to say about individual pages, but this one I do have quite a bit to say.

This page (And the next few that follow) were among my favorite pages to write and the ones I was really looking forward to illustrating. Mostly because it was the guys just acting like guys.

One of my beta readers described moments like these as "The guys high-five and say 'YES! That's how it is'... while the girls facepalm, sigh and say, 'Yep. That's how it is'.

The Joke in the first panel was Azarus' idea. I don't consider it 'breaking the 4th wall' per se... more like taking a chisel and hammering out a few pieces of the fourth wall. It's a slight nod to the guy who was the inspiration for Shae's appearance. If you actually get the joke, you get a cookie and a hundred internetz.

That being said. I'm REALLY looking forward to working on and posting the next few pages. They contain some of my favorite lines of the series.

Disclaimer
The Intrepid Series contains themes of war, violence, gang activity, death, PG-13 rated nudity/sex, adult language, and moderate amounts of gore (Gore NOT Vore… there‘s a difference. Rest assured that this comic does not contain Vore!). All pages with extreme mature content will be placed under a mature filter, but you should be able to understand the story without reading the few select pages. If you still have issues with any of these themes, then this is not the comic series for you. Instead of flaming, please hit the back button. The pageview is still appreciated, however.
